MY WORK

Since early 2017, I have been very active with developing original theatre work and I had the great fortune of both creating and being featured in a variety of projects.

From re-adaptations of well-known plays, such as 'The Bold Soprano' or 'The Wonderful World of Dissocia', to immersive theatre experiences or stage adaptations of films such as Fellini's 'Giulietta degli Spiriti', I’ve been working hard to develop my own unique voice in the theatre and film industry.

Below you’ll find more details of some of my favorite work.

MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING

June 2017 - September 2017

As one of my breakout performances, I had the fortune of playing the role of Beatrice in a contemporary adaptation of Shakespeare's comedy 'Much Ado About Nothing', as part of the Gdansk Shakespeare Festival, held every summer in Gdansk, Poland.

With the expert direction of British theatre director Tanya Roberts-Bator and the amazing cast and crew that worked with us, I had the guidance and support I needed to grow as a confident performer.

I’m proud to say that my performance received outstanding reviews, as did the work of the entire cast and creative team.

THE BLOOPERS LIMITED

January 2019 - July 2019

Hilarious and at times hysterical, 'The Bloopers Limited' is a tragicomedy, a political satire loosely based Brexit, fictionalising the events that led to it.

With this performance, I was challenged all around, as an Actor, a Writer and a Director. I personally curated every aspect of the show, writing the script, creating the set, sound and light design, directing it as well as being one of the main characters.

This was a dream experience to me! I worked extremely hard for the show to come together and maintain its uniqueness as well as fitting in perfectly with the bigger picture of the 'Land of Fibs Festival' which hosted us at the Canada Water Theatre, in London.

The performance received rave reviews from viewers and was a huge success; in-fact, it was selected to be performed at the X-Actor Festival, based in Rome and organised by the Istituto Teatrale Europeo.

JULIET OF THE SPIRITS

February 2018 - May 2018

Out of all my performances, the stage adaptation of Fellini's 1965 'Giulietta degli Spiriti'  was certainly the most challenging.

Giulietta Masina's character, was rather emblematic and it took me days on end of hard work to fully grasp her essence.

This project really helped me grow as a performer. It pushed me to enforce my ability to communicate with body language and expressiveness.

The making of this piece was magical. Nothing I experienced before had the 'wow' factor quite as this one. The process of translating the film in English as well as adapting it to the stage, alongside creating the set, sound and light design has been a unique experience.

I was eager and excited to get out there and perform and the reaction from audiences was incredibly rewarding.
